Privacy Policy

Aura AI ("Aura", "we", "us") is a self-improvement app that provides AI-generated feedback on photos you choose to submit, AI-coached voice practice conversations, lessons, and related coaching tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the controls you have.
The short version: we collect what's needed to run the app and nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't use your photos or voice to train our own AI models. You can export or delete your data from inside the app at any time.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Email address and name — when you sign up with Apple, Google, or an email code. With Sign in with Apple you may hide your real email address.
- Optional profile details — display name, bio, avatar photo, Instagram handle, and timezone, if you choose to add them.
Content you submit
- Photos — face, physique, and outfit photos, and dating-profile or chat screenshots that you upload for analysis. Photos are stored so you can revisit past analyses, and are sent to our AI providers (listed below) solely to generate your results.
- Voice audio and transcripts — during practice simulations, your speech is transcribed and processed in real time to power the conversation. Session recordings and transcripts are stored so you can review your performance and receive scoring.
- Onboarding and in-app responses — answers to onboarding questions, lesson responses, goals, and preferences. Before you create an account, onboarding responses are keyed to a random per-install identifier, which is linked to your account if you sign up.
Usage and purchase information
- App activity — analyses run, lessons completed, streaks, daily tasks, practice-session scores, referral activity, and similar product interactions.
- Purchase history — subscription status and in-app purchases, processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your full payment details.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data (via Sentry) so we can fix bugs.
- Push token — if you enable notifications, a device token used only to deliver them.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertising or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not use your photos, voice, or conversations to train our own AI models, and our AI providers are used under API terms that do not permit them to train on your content.
- We do not use your photos to identify you or anyone else. Photo analysis generates appearance feedback only — we do not create biometric identifiers such as faceprints, and we do not perform facial recognition.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the core features: photo analyses, voice practice, lessons, daily tasks, and coaching suggestions.
- To personalize feedback — for example, comparing a new analysis against your previous one to show progress.
- To manage your subscription and credits.
- To send service emails (e.g. sign-in codes) and, if enabled, push notifications like streak reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time.
- To keep the service secure, debug problems, and prevent abuse.
4. Who processes your data (service providers)
We use a small set of infrastructure and AI providers to run Aura. Each receives only what is necessary for its function:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, and photo storage |
| Fly.io | Application server hosting |
| OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) | AI analysis of photos and text, conversation intelligence |
| OpenRouter | AI gateway that may route some text requests to model providers (no-retention policy) |
| LiveKit | Real-time voice infrastructure for practice sessions |
| Deepgram | Speech-to-text during practice sessions |
| Fish Audio | Text-to-speech voices for practice sessions |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storage of practice-session recordings |
| RevenueCat & Apple | Subscription and purchase management |
| Sentry | Crash and performance monitoring |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery |
Data is processed on servers located in the United States. If you use Aura from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
5. Data retention
- Your content (photos, recordings, transcripts, analyses) is retained while your account is active so you can review your history.
- When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), your personal information — name, email, photos of you, profile details — is removed or irreversibly de-identified, your sign-in is revoked, and your account can no longer be linked back to you. De-identified, aggregate records (e.g. anonymous usage statistics) may be retained.
- Diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
6. Your rights and controls
- Export — you can download a full export of your data from inside the app.
- Delete — you can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). This is immediate and irreversible.
- Correct — you can edit your profile details in the app.
- Notifications — you can disable push notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional statutory rights such as access, portability, restriction, and objection. To exercise any right, use the in-app tools above or contact us at contact@oddsai.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Age requirement
Aura is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Photos are stored privately and served only through short-lived signed URLs. Access to production systems is restricted and authenticated. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for data minimisation: every part of the app only receives the data it actually needs.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new date at the top. Continued use of Aura after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
